A highly driven and motivated professional with over 20 years of diverse experience working in the development of protection, prevention, and response programs to end violence against women and children. Positions have been with government agencies, development organizations, international non-governmental organizations (INGO) and institutions in the US, El Salvador, Rwanda, Burundi, Dominican Republic, Tanzania, Congo (RDC), Liberia, Mali, Ethiopia, and Djibouti.
Professionally keen on program design, implementation, gender analysis and capacity building. Experience in management and technical areas related to: development, sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) prevention and response; psychosocial support, child protection; female genital mutilation; resource mobilization; needs assessment, the environment; gender and SGBV mainstreaming into public health and other sectors; migration, trafficking in person and refugees; HIV prevention and education; youth and gender issues; training, workshop facilitation, curriculum development and protocols development.
Interests include working with diverse groups of stakeholders in program planning, coordination, and organizational development.
