Health Technical Advisor, Humanitarian Crisis Response
Dr. John Otshudiema is a Medical Epidemiologist and Public Health Professional with over 15-years of experience in managing and supporting public health programs. John is a CDC-trained Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Epidemiologist who is currently leading the health portfolio within the new FHI 360 humanitarian crisis response team. John has held specialized roles responding to disease outbreaks and strengthening the health surveillance system by providing epidemiology support both within the U.S. and abroad including Ebola Virus Disease in West Africa-Guinea, cholera and yellow fever in D.R. Congo, meningococcal Disease in Ghana and Boston, MA, and recently cholera and diphtheria in Yemen, and Ebola virus disease outbreak in D.R. Congo.
