Vice President, Humanitarian Response
Greg Ramm is currently Vice President, Humanitarian Response at Save the Children and a member of the IASC’s Emergency Director’s Group. He joined Save the Children’s Washington office in October 2012, initially serving as Associate Vice President, International Programs, Child Protection and HIV/AIDS. In October and November 2014, Mr. Ramm led the Save the Children response to the Ebola crisis in Liberia as Interim Country Director.
Mr. Ramm joined Save the Children in 1998 as Country Director in the DR Congo and later in Ghana. He has also served as Head of Regional Office for Southern Africa and as Regional Director for West and Central Africa, based in Senegal. He was Director of Global Programs for Save the Children in London from 2009 to 2012.
Prior to joining Save the Children, Mr. Ramm was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zaire. He holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
