Jeannette Kah Le Guil is the Co-Chair of the Consortium of African Diaspora based in the US (CADUS), and Maison d’Oeuvres pour le Développement et du Leadership pour la Côte d’Ivoire (MODELCI). Born and raised in Côte d’Ivoire, Jeannette obtained her Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie at the Université d’Abidjan – with a background in Business Administration, Côte d’Ivoire in 1988. She has been residing in the USA for 27 years. As a volunteer and member of the African/Ivorian Diaspora, Jeannette is actively involved in various social and humanitarian activities with not-for-profit organizations as well as faith-based organizations operating in the US and Africa. Jeannette is also engaged in the Diaspora’s contribution toward development. These activities include diaspora’s remittances, education and human capital development, women and girls’ issues particularly in the rural and remote areas in Africa, the social and economic inclusion of persons with disabilities, Universal Design and Assistive Technology, humanitarian, emergency relief and disaster management.
